A Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Aeronautical Society with extensive civil aerospace, military and industrial experience, Sir Colin brings a wealth of knowledge to the Company. During a full career in the Royal Air Force, Sir Colin reached the rank of Air Marshal and was Chief Engineer(RAF) as well as the Commander in Chief Logistics Command and the Air Force Board Member for Logistics. Since retiring from the RAF he has held a string of high profile roles including Chairman of Meggitt plc (a global engineering group specialising in the Aerospace and Energy sectors) guiding them into the FTSE 100. He is currently the Chairman of Centronic Ltd, an SME in the Nuclear supply chain and Chairman of Boxarr Ltd, a Software spin out company from Southampton University. Additionally, he is a Director of an Aim listed mining company - Fox Marble Plc, operating in the Balkans.
Other key roles formerly held include : Group MD of Inflite Engineering Ltd at Stansted, Director of Aveillant ltd - a spin out radar company, Chairman of the Engineering Council (UK), President of the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Council of European Aerospace Societies, Chairman of AviaMediaTech, and U.K. Senior Defence Advisor to Alenia / Aermacchi and Safran.
Sir Colin is President of SSAFA in Buckinghamshire where he is also a Deputy Lieutenant.
Jeremy O’Dwyer has spent the past 15 years in Executive Search, focused on Professional Services and the Technology Services. He has worked for two listed firms and was a Partner in a global boutique. Prior to this he spent 10 years working for Oracle, Capgemini and IBM, in business development / consulting roles. His early career was spent at the Investment Bank, Flemings (now part of JP Morgan), where he spent 10 years, progressing from systems development to large program management.
Sarn founded Conrad Grindley LLP in 2017 following the merger of three businesses. He is one of the markets leading headhunters with over 15 years of experience within executive search. Prior to Conrad Grindley he was with a boutique search business and previously spent over a decade with one of the leading FTSE executive search firms leading the Technology and Professional services business. Sarn gained his MSc from Cranfield in Water Management and Engineering before joining Vivendi within the operational and infrastructure division. Sarn enjoyed a successful career within the group, working across both the commercial and operational functions before moving into recruitment in 1999 to manage senior assignments for UK businesses and US backed firms. He has hired senior executives across EMEA and the Emerging markets and has an extensive track record of recruiting senior executives within the Professional Services, Technology and Utilities arena. He has conducted multiple international searches in the UK, RCIS, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and Europe and has an extensive track-record of clients including Fortune 500, FT250, pre-IPO and PE backed firms.
Peter has spent over a decade within Executive Search working at Director level for a global plc. Peter’s expertise lies within Research, Consulting , Operations and Management. Peter’s career has also seen him working as a COO within a media business, an Analyst covering the Asian technology markets and a Marketing Executive in China with Manchester United. Peter holds overall responsibility for Conrad Grindley’s in-house research team.
Marcus has spent over 30 years working in, building and running service based business in the IT sector. Over that time he has amassed significant experience and built a wide network of industry professionals becoming a recognised speaker on the IT circuit and a participant in industry shaping events.
In 2007 Marcus sold his business to the British Computer Society, joining them as Sales Director for the duration of his two year earn out period and consolidating all the society’s commercial activities into one defined business group. After exiting BCS Marcus undertook the three year turnaround of an International Service Management consultancy before starting Incite Insight in 2013. This new business delivers Strategic Resource Management (SRM) and combines all Marcus’s experience in to one model which incorporates resource consultancy, the managed provision of education, behaviour change, Interim and Executive Search and Selection, it ensures its clients are equipped to deliver their organisation’s objectives and each individual is helped to maximise their potential.
As a former head of a real estate investment business with over 20 years’ experience Tim has led advisory and principal investing strategies to create diverse real estate portfolios for clients and partners through a period of significant market volatility. With his private equity background, he has raised and arranged both debt and equity elements of the capital structure; closing transactions with a wide array of public and private sector partners. More recently he was the Managing Director for the European real estate investment business for a UHNW US family with day- to-day responsibility for the local business. He has direct operational experience on both the buy and sell side of transactions and is used to bringing teams together to achieve results. Having previously worked for leading multi-national companies, such as General Electric, he values empirical analysis and a strong customer focus when working with clients and partners to set and achieve business goals.
